Thumbnail Page Suggestion

by AP @, Canada, Monday, December 21, 2009, 05:52 (2890 days ago)

I tried & purchased your software today after trying several others & found yours one of the easiest (but fewest templates - though I'm not complaining as it does have the 3 month template which seems to be rare).

I ended up with an overall design that I was happy with and I was also thrilled to see that the program even did a back cover page of thumbnails, which I had already manually made in Photoshop. But when I tried your version of a back cover of thumbnails, I found that a) there was no way to add text such as you can with the Front Cover, or thumbnail labels such as the file name or month as text, nor any way to add any custom text, all which I ende up doing over in Photoshop, and b) there was no way to resize the thumbnails as your template IMO has them a bit too large leaving too little room for text and too empty looking without some sort of text.

So if you're so inclined, could you add some customization of the thumbnail page to your list of things to add to SC> Something like adding the Front Cover Page functions would be a good start>

Otherwise I enjoyed using your program and very happy that it is just Simply Calendars with all that entails, vs. all the missing calendar relevant stuff that more complicated softwares leave out. Happy Holidays and Thank You.

You can currently choose to use either the filename (minus tag) or the caption (as used on main picture). Both of these can be changed.

Will add to "To Do" list
