Printing photos along with the monthly calendar

by Susan @, Tuesday, September 15, 2009, 16:45 (2988 days ago)

Thanks for previous email response.
I am new to this & need a little more help. when I send calendar to print it only prints out the months of the year and not the accompanying photos.
Any help most appreciated.

Are the photos still accessible from your PC - or were they on removeable media such as as a CD/pen drive>

If you save calendars as a *.cld calendar file it does not store the picture itself - just a reference to the image file.
If image file is removed, then Simply Calenders can't retrieve image data.

Replace the image source (eg Pen Drive/CD) in the PC and reopen open cld file.
If you have not resaved calendar then pictures should then be present.
If you then click "Copy Pictures on this Calendar to Graphics Folder" on Pictures menu, all the picture files will be copied to your hard disk and the calendar references adjusted accordingly. You can then save the calendar and pictures should be visible each time you open Simply Calenders and when printing.

You can also export calendar to a Acrobat PDF file - this is ot easily editable but does includes picture data.

Printing photos along with the monthly calendar

Thanks for your reply. I copied into a pdf file & all pictures are there and they print out. However part of this question is what size paper should I use to print out a full-sized calendar> i.e. each month 8 1/2 x 11 and the pictures 8 1/2 x 11 on one page - what I would call a wall calendar that you can post on your wall and flip over to the next month with new picture.
Hope this can be worked out.
Thanks.
Susan

Are you using borders on the pictures, on a few printers the "transparent" rectangle is not properly implemented and opaque rectangle osscures the picture
