Hi

Try using Print to PDF on File menu (rather than Export to PDF)
Print to PDF has a lot more options including allowing you to choose which pages are printed.

Pictures are reduced to the size required by the calendar. These artefacts are probably due to the original picture file being too big and requiring excessive reduction.
The picture file format will make no difference.
Also it is the opened image size in MPixels that counts, rather than the stored file size in MBytes. I've attempted to lower to an acceptable range by changing the format as suggested but I still get the windown indicating they continue to be too high a resolution. This problem is usually caused by Security Suite (CA Associates/AOL/MacAfee).
Armadillo, the software protection system used by Simply Calenders unfortunately can interpret action by Security Suite as potentially hacking and causes Simply Calenders to shut down.
You can try running SC_CAFIX.exe (in "Program Files\Skerryvore Software\Simply Calenders" folder).
