This is correct. If you crop a picture within "The Darkroom", then this change is made to the image file (permanently) - so you are encouraged to save ["Save As"] the modified image to a new file within the Simply Calenders graphics folder.
Resizing or Moving a picture is simpler and does not make changes to original image file. This is done within Simply Calenders (not The Darkroom). Select that picture - sizing squares should then appear which can be dragged to alter size. The whole image can also be draged to reposition. More details are given in in Help file.
