How can I download my purchased programme?

I recently ordered current version 4.9.1236 by post.
You replied by email on 30/11/07, giving me a very long single code & under it, - Enter BOTH of these - I can see only one.
My problem is where to go, which site to enter this/these codes. The advertised sites seem to invite me to trial versions. Nowhere can I find a place acknowledging my purchase and inviting me to enter said codes.
I would be grateful for some information about this please.
