R1 . Who may use the Registered version?

Digital Foto readers may use version 2 of Simply Calenders, using the registration code for Digital Foto.

The full (registered) version 4 may only be used by all those who have paid the registration fee and hold a signed licence agreement from Skerryvore Software Ltd. This entitles the user to enter a valid user name and number which will be issued to them.

All other use of the full version is theft and illegal.

The user name and registration number should be carefully entered taking note of spaces and capitalisation.

The registration Number is different for V2 V3 and V4

R2 . How do I upgrade to version 4

Version 4.8 is is available to download here

Points to note:

• Installing version 4.8 should automatically uninstall earlier versions.
• A personal registration number is required for version 4.8.
  This is available on registration (Registration $24.95 + VAT).
• Your language file will be overwritten to add the new languages.
  If you have added any new languages yourself, you are advised to export these first.

  By doing this you can simply import these languages back into Simply Calenders 3.2 after installation.

• 512Mb RAM is recommended for image editing features.

R3 How do I uninstall Simply Calenders?

Via Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, Choose "Simply Calenders" and click Add/Remove.

On these operating systems "Simply Calenders" does not support these languages.

A suitable font needs to be installed on your PC.

L2 Why can't I select Polish and other East European languages on my Win 95 PC?

Windows 95 Multilanguage support must be installed.

• Insert your Windows 95 installation CD in CD Drive
  
• Under Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Windows Setup
   ensure Multilanguage support is ticked then click OK

Day names are abbreviated (by design) to fit into the space allowed.
These are usually standard abbreviations for that language eg jeu. for Jeudi.

You can, however, override this by copying your chosen language to a "User Defined" language.
Language, Select, (highlight chosen language), Copy As New

Extend Day names as required eg jeu to Jeudi and then give the User Defined Language a name eg FRANCAIS.

G2 Can I insert text by each date?

Not in version 2 - this is a new feature since version 3.2

In latest version, you can add your own text eg birthdays and reminders for any date
In latest version you can also include Christian, Eastern Orthodox, Jewish, Islamic religious events, Moon Phases and Daylight Saving Dates.

G2 Why do my Pictures not Print When a Border is Selected?

Problem: Pictures may not print if a border is selected.

May occur with some printers (eg HP DJ 830c and
HP OfficeJet 85xi) on Win 95, win 98 and Win ME,

This is due to a Microsoft bug ( see q176634 )
